The Penobscot Historical Society's house was built in 1830 and located in the town of Surry.  The Myers Family gave the house to be taken down and placed on the land owned by the society.  About 1977, next came the barn and in 2003 the school house was moved to the present site.

Events

Penobscot Historical Society  12-5pm
The Society compound including the five room house, barn, and school house will be open for tours.  We have many new exhibits plus an original Antonio Jacobson painting.
