Navy Frigate USS John L. Hall is due into Bucksport 10:45AM on Friday July 29th. This is an approximate time pending weather conditons and a few other factors. It will dock at Sprague Point.

Friday Evening, July 29th and all day on Saturday, July 30th

Welcome the US Navy Frigate John L. Hall - and the US Coast Guard Cutter, "Tackle" Fri thru Sun.

Welcome the US Navy Frigate .. “John L. Hall” .. app. 10:45am

Tours on the US Navy Frigate “ John L. Hall “ 2pm –5pm . Not handicapped accessible
Visitors must wear closed-toed shoes…no sandals. Adults must show ID. Must be 12 years of age.

1:00 pm – 4:00 pm  Bucksport Historical Society Open

4:30 pm – Registration starts for the Karaoke Contest at the Gazebo , participation may be limited

5:00 pm – 9:00 pm  Harbor Tours on the 72’ Replica Steamboat “ MV Patience “ from the Town Dock

6:00 pm     Bucksport  Karaoke Contest at the Gazebo , open to all ages !!
                  Cash Prizes will be awarded : 1st Place $125 , 2nd $75 , 3rd $50.
                  Participation and admission is free !!
                  Registration starts  4:30pm at the Gazebo and is limited to app. 15 contestants
                   Participants must supply their own “ background “music only CD ”. CD’s cannot be                  “burned”.
                  Inclement weather site will be indoors at  The Alamo Theatre

8:00 pm – 9:30pm Live music at the Gazebo by local band “ Exit 4 “

9:00 pm     Free Parking Lot Movie behind The Alamo Theatre
                 “Raiders of the Lost Ark”  Sponsored by Northeast Historic Film 
                  Bring your chair!   Inclement weather will move the movie inside the Alamo Theater

7:00 am      Register for 5K Family Fun Run (VERSO/SEABOARD FCU area)
                   $9 Pre-register at the Chamber of Commerce,  $10 day of race
                    The first 125 to register will get a free 5K Fun Run T-shirt !!

8:00 am      5K Family Fun Run   Race starts

8:00 am      Blueberry Pancake Breakfast starts near Flag Pole Point run by Boys High School Soccer Team

8:00 am    Vendors, Artisans, Crafters, & Food Booths set up along the Bucksport Waterfront Walkway
                   Civil War Encampment at Fort Knox co-hosted by 20th Maine Company B
                   Catch our free Festival Shuttle Bus to get there !

8:00 am – 2:00 pm    Henry Mattson Memorial Book Sale at the Franklin St. United Methodist                  Church

8:30 am    Parade line-up at the Verso Mill parking area

9:00 am – 4:00 pm Free tours of the US Coast Guard Cutter “ Tackle “ at the Town Dock

9:30 am     Parade Starts ( New Time ) ! (VERSO down Franklin St. , down Mill St., back up Main St.
                   returning to the VERSO parking lot)

10:00 am    Vendors, Artisans, Crafters, Food Booths open all along the Waterfront Walkway
                  2011 Healthy Community Expo , by Bucksport Bay Healthy Communities at Flag Pole Point

10:00 am - 2:30 pm   Various Demonstrations and Programs under the Wellness Expo Tent at Flag                  Point
